Dr. Jothi explained about Mei Padam
Mei means body, and Padam means exercise. You have to understand your body and then do exercise. Different genetics have different body structures. You have to understand your ability, your strength. What is your stamina level? How long can you exercise? Your stamina level depends on your ancestors. This is the wealth you have got from your ancestors. When you understand yourself, you start with Mei Padam.

1. How people get the energy to do workout for long hours?
Ans. You are getting the energy i.e. prana shakti. You get everything from nature. We always follow prana shakti. When you get shakti from prana, it’s 100%, and it’s come from Mei Padam.
2. What is Karlakattai?
Ans. Karlakattai is a piece of wood that helps in building stamina which we can use in our work. Here, I also want to add that modern people think my job is my exercise. No! that is not exercise. You have to exercise to build energy and use that energy in your job.
3. Can a person who is not doing any exercise till now, not even walking, and is unfit in many ways, can improve himself to be fit?
Ans. The first thing is to maintain your discipline; the mind discipline.
Like you brush your teeth every morning, you don’t forget it. It is like your culture, your daily routine. The main discipline is to look after your body every day. Every day, wake up early, look at the sunrise for 5 minutes, then take one glass of water. Just stand in the sun for 5-10 min and do prana exercise. Then 5 minutes will become 10 minutes, then 15 min and it increases. This will completely change your life.
