QnA with Amar Krishna Jha
1. What are the different forms of copywriting?
Ans. From the business name to the product’s name, product’s description, whatever you see on hoardings, emails, Facebook ads, Google ads, everything is copywriting.
2. What is the scope of writing copy in the local language?
Ans. Local language ads have always performed great for us. It’s all about understanding your audience. There are times when local language ads will not work; it depends. Copywriting is basically trying to understand the emotions and having a conversation. So, if you think in the local language, you can connect your audience with it. One thing people think they should have good grammar, but this is not true.
3. Top 5 mistakes people make in copywriting
Ans. a) People don’t do much research; they think that writing anything will work out.
b) Just using flowery words, jargons, and fake FOMO
c) Copywriting is not about being funny.
d) Trying to copy other people’s copy
e) Don’t think too much
4. What is the perfect length of a copy?
Ans. You can do magic with one line also, and sometimes you have to write a hundred words. There is not a perfect length of a copy. You have to tell a story; if it can communicate your message, it’s perfect.
5. Copywriting books recommendation by Amar Krishna Jha
Ans. If you don’t want to think much, buy Cashvertizing. And people who want to learn, analyze and think can start with Gary Halbert’s Boron Letters, then next comes Scientific Advertising; the best book in my opinion. One more book you can have is Great Leads. If you once read these three books, you are sorted.
